My name is James E. Smith. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from Columbia High School. I went on to study engineering at Fresno Technical College in Fresno, Ca, and pursued an accounting degree at Fresno Community College. I served 4 years in the US Marine Corps where I was in the Drum & Bugle Corps and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. I had the honor of playing taps at the Vietnam Memorial. My greatest honor, however, was to play taps for over 450 fallen comrads who died or are MIA's in Vietnam.
I love meeting people, and I try to find good in everyone. I am a meat and potatoes type of guy. Hate broccoli, brussel sprouts and cauliflower even if they're covered in chocolate. I like cats. Dogs, well they're ok if they belong to the neighbors. My hobbies are fishing, collecting miniature Winston Cup race cars, and of course this computer. My favorite race car driver is #3 Dale Earnhardt.
