James Oliver was born July-09-1819 in Caithness, Scotland and married Ann born 1821 in Ireland. James and Ann were buried in Sinclair Township near Huntsville, Ontario in the 1890's in an isolated and unnamed graveyard. It is on the property called “Winter's Appointment”

William Earl (Rusty)⁵ Oliver (Althy⁴ Bennett, George³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born May-7-1906 in Huntsville, Muskoka District, Ontario, Canada, and died August-24-1978 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.. He married Mary Wilson,  a War Bride, September-25-1943 in Braemar, Scotland, daughter of W.G.Wilson. William Earl Oliver  joined the South Alberta Regiment and served in the Highlands of Scotland near Braemar just outside of Aberdeen. Mary was born January-11-1906 in Braemar, Scotland, and died August-20-1995 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.

Alexander⁶ William Oliver (William Earl⁵, Altha⁴ Bennett, George³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He married Bonnie June Fritz in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. In his childhood, Alex was called Allie for short and Red as a nickname.Some of the Barred Rock chickens were as big as Alex, if not bigger, when he was a tot.
